30th Chicago Latino Film Festival - April 3-17, 2014

In April, the 30th Chicago Latino Film Festival will feature more than 100 feature-length and short films from Latin America, Spain, Portugal and the United States. It's the largest and oldest Latino film festival in the U.S., and this year, the International Latino Cultural Center of Chicago (ILCC) and AARP Illinois have announced they will present the "Movies for Grownups Series" as part of the festival.

The films chosen for the series are: "The Tree that Grows on the Wall" (Argentina), "Illiterate" (Chile), "She Doesn't Want to Sleep Alone" (Mexico), "Here's the Deal" (Spain), "Solo" (Uruguay) and the short film "Alberto's" (Venezuela). Alejandro Riera, Media Relations Director for the film festival, and Carmenza Millan, Associate State Director Advocacy & Outreach AARP Illinois, came into our ABC 7 Eyewitness News studio to tell us about the film festival.
